When can I make camping reservations for Memorial Day weekend?
Memorial Day weekend reservations can be made on Sunday, April 18 at 12:00am. This is the midnight between Saturday, April 17 & Sunday, April 18. 
There is a 3 night minimum requirement. Arriving Friday, May 28 & departing Monday, May 31.
Holiday rates apply. 
Which parks have FULL hook-ups (water, electric & sewer)?
Parks Angler & Fox.
Which parks have PARTIAL hook-ups (water & electric only)?
Parks Bass, Egret, Fox & Indian.
Which parks allow TENT camping (no hook-ups)?
Parks Grebe, Hawk, Jay, Kingfisher, Mallard & Osprey.
Bass & Fox have just a few spots for tent camping.
We have blocked out sites for social distancing. Only every other site is open in our tent campgrounds. Please leave blocked sites empty. 
Can I put a tent in a hook-up site?
Tents are permitted in a hook-up site ONLY if it's secondary to a motorhome or trailer.
Tents are not permitted on any irrigated grass areas. 
Indian is the only park with hook-ups (water & electric) that tents can be in without requiring a motorhome or trailer.
 
How many vehicles am I allowed to bring when camping?
There is a 2 vehicle maximum per campsite. One vehicle included & 2nd vehicle at an additional cost.
The extra vehicle fee should be paid for at the front gate upon arrival. 
$14 per night on weeknights.
$20 per night on weekends (Fridays & Saturdays).
$20 per night on holidays.
When is check-in / check-out?
Check in is 2:00pm of your arrival date & check out is 12:00 noon of your departure date.
If I tested positive for COVID-19 can I go camping at Lake Casitas to quarantine?
NO. Do not enter the Lake Casitas Recreation Area if you or any member of your group has tested positive for COVID or has the following symptoms:
Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea. 
 
Do you have any group campsites available to reserve?
At this time, due to the pandemic, our group campsites are closed.
Are picnics allowed?
The picnic areas are first come, first served. We are not accepting group reservations for any picnic areas due to the pandemic. If your group is small, there are several picnic areas to choose from throughout the park on the day you arrive. No groups larger than 10 please. Having a picnic in a campsite is not permitted. Day use fees apply upon vehicle entry. 
 
How much does it cost to enter the park just for the day?
Day Use Entry Fees:
$10.00 per vehicle during "off" season. (Labor Day to Easter)
$20.00 per vehicle during "on" season weekends. (Easter to Labor Day)
$20.00 per vehicle on holidays. 
Are your park showers & playgrounds open?
No. Currently our park showers & playgrounds are CLOSED. 
Can I cancel, change or transfer my reservation online?
As of now, no. You will need to call into our guest services office & have one of our assistants help you with that. Please know, there is a $10 non-refundable reservation fee & a $6 cancellation/change fee that applies.

How do I extend my reservation?
You may call our guest services office from 8am to 5pm daily for help with this. There is no extra charge for extending a reservation. Please have your booking number ready.

Will the wine festival be happening at your park this summer?
The Ojai Wine Festival 2021 has been cancelled.
Is your waterpark open?
Normally, our waterpark is open from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.
Unfortunetly, our waterpark will be closed for the Summer of 2021. We hope to be back open in the summer of 2022.
Can I swim in the lake?
No body contact or swimming is permitted in the lake. 
Can I bring a kayak, canoe, inflatable boat or fishing boat to the lake?
All vessels are subject to a mandatory 35 day quarantine period before you can use it on the lake. To schedule a kayak/canoe/boat inspection appointment, please email boatinspection@casitaswater.com. In your email, please include your phone number so we can reach you to explain the process in detail.
Do you offer storage for a motorhome, kayak, canoe or boat?
Yes, we do offer trailer storage. Prices are $105/mo. for a back-in space & $130/mo. for a pull through space. Kayak & canoe storage is $2 per foot. 
Decal stickers are required on all water vessels & must be renewed annually while in storage.
